Gary continues to do beautiful work refinishing and restoring furniture. He refinished and restored an heirloom chifforobe for my family and now it can be used for many years. Gary cares about his customers. He goes above and beyond expectations. If something needs repair unexpectedly, he repairs it. Gary was able to replicate the pool table base replacement in hardwood AND finish to a custom color matching the room finishes to a tee! Highly recommend his talent and are thankful we found him to do our wood work!

We had a large dining room table that needed to be refinished and also chairs that needed seat cushion repairs. The job done was excellent. The table looks brand new and the chairs are so comfortable and sturdy now. Definitely will call on Gary Forte Woodworking again for any future restoration and/or repair needs.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Gary!!! I have a general store counter from 1952 that I was able to secure before they demolished the building. It represents wonderful childhood memories for me-going with my granddaddy to get cokes and peanuts, or little bottles of cold chocolate milk! I had it 'restored' in Tennessee and it was an absolute disaster-they ruined it!!! But I came home and found Gary...he took it apart and rebuilt it-refinished it 'again' and it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!! I feel like he preserved my childhood memories every time I look at it!! I am so happy with it. My only regret is that I didn't find him first!!! I would highly recommend him to everyone!!! He's honest and trustworthy and so gifted in what he does! He also did a 40 year old child's rocker that belonged to my daughter. I wanted to give it to my grandson and he brought it to life and the finish was gorgeous!!! My daughter was so surprised and excited!! Again, he restored it and created another heirloom being passed down for new memories to be made!! Gary is truly a craftsman and artisan. I had extensive damage to my furniture, many of which are antiques, during a recent move. It was heartbreaking to come home and see the damage...scratches, broken glass, pieces missing. Gary was exceedingly accommodating coming to evaluate the work at a time that was most convenient for me, which no one else would do. Then he produced an estimate that was comprehensive and thorough complete with pictures. Once I approved the estimate he scheduled a time and started as planned. The work was completed and I excitedly came home to view the progress. I was extremely pleased. When the project was completed I enlisted Gary's services to refinish 3 dressers and a bed....the pieces are absolutely beautiful and an amazing addition to my home! Because of the fabulous work by Gary I am in love with my furniture once again and it is pure joy coming home to it! Thank you Gary for you skill, expertise and dedication to your craft! I contacted Gary to refinish an antique cherry bedroom suite I had as a child. For 30 years this furniture was out of my possession and during that time it had not been taken care of. Gary not only refinished the set to a beautiful finish but repaired the drawers and tops that had been damaged. I am absolutely thrilled with how it.turned out. Looks better than it ever had. Gary was timely in his contact, took care when picking up and delivering furniture and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend his work.

I contacted Gary Forte to do a special project in memory ofy my mom who passed away in April. My mom left a huge book collection and I needed a nice shelf made to hold all her books. I LOVE WHAT GARY CREATED. This man is a genius in woodworking. I am so blessed that I found him. Gary is personable, kind, creative and simply gifted. I am overjoyed about the book case and the service and attention to detail can't be rated. If you want quality work, reasonable pricing and something to show off in your home, I suggest you allow Mr. Forte to do the work. I promise you will Love the end results!!!!

Gary is a very professional expert craftsman. He refinished and repaired a cherry Hitchcock table for us that had been abused......great work, on one could ever tell it had been damaged. I would definitely recommend him for all your woodworking needs!

I had a breakfast table and chairs that was in need of repair. Gary was very accommodating with the pickup and delivery of the furniture. And his workmanship is awesome! You found not tell it was damaged before. I will be seeking him for future projects. You don't find this skill too often anymore!

Gary restored and refinished a family heirloom dining room table beyond my expectations. It was an antique, put together strictly with wooden pegs and he managed to repair every last piece and refinish with an updated look that is both Timeless and current. We can now continue family holiday meals into a fourth and fifth generation.
